Project II: Contextual Fit
In this project, we must take the existing house known as the "Smith House" by Richard Meier and make a series of additions in accordance with the families needs, and the existing elements.

Narrative & Meta Idea
Narrative:
The Smith Family has recently sold their highly sought after property overlooking the Connecticut side of the Long Island Sound. The incoming couple has a dedicated student athlete who one day hopes to be in the MLB. They have made it clear that they would like to expand the home to accommodate their new master bedroom, their son’s physical fitness needs, as well as add some more space for indoor/outdoor gatherings.
Meta Idea:
Baseball diamond, each point fanning out from a center “home-plate” together with a raised component on another level.
